The Akkadian Hymn to the Seven

As I work through the Hymns and Prayers, the beautiful belief becomes more and more evident. But, so does the narrative, which is woven into it.

In this Akkadian Hymn to an unnamed god, a Lord of Charms allows the hostile gods to return to Heaven. As such, it can only be the Seven Anunnaki.

Akkadians

The Akkadians ruled as an Empire of Mesopotamia from the City of Akkad, later uniting the Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian and Ancient Sumerian under one rule.

In the documentary, I explain who I believe the god refers to, what the Hymn means concerning the Hostile gods of Heaven and the purpose of the Hymn. Enjoy!
